Why is this basketball team just not fun?

Even when we weren't winning a ton, the OP teams were always fun to follow and watch. We had interesting players and games.
Even last year was saved by KJ but this years team has to be the least fun Clemson team to watch and follow in a long time.

OP would be a better alternative. The last three years of his regime CU went to the NCAAs. He even left enough talent for Brownell to go his first year. But since then CU has been king of the NIT. And I don't even see that in the cards this year. Now everyone wants to think Brownell is some kind of basketball genius, and seem to love him because his teams play hard. But the reality is that he has been here 5 years, and the program isn't close to what he inherited.

with the unexpected emergence of KJ McDaniel as superstar, but overall we have gotten progressively worse under Brownell.

Go boring crappy basketball! I'm sorry, as a student loved going to Oliver a Purnell coached games . This team is not worth watching on TV, not a big basketball fan to start with though.

been a one trick pony, but it always seemed we had a chance because he recruited guys that were very good at what they did and could win on any given night. Not to mention, even OP recruited some good shooters. That was fun. Brownell has not recruited many guys that are that good at what they are asked to do. We continue to have no shooters. We know going in that we suck, and don't have a prayer of beating a decent team. That's not fun. It has nothing, or very little to do with style of play, and everything to do with recruiting (or the lack thereof).

doesn't even seem to be in sync with each other. It shows there's a serious lack of top tier talent. And this years team doesn't have a great player to excite the crowd. Well, maybe next year (where have I heard that before?).

Hate to say it but they are painful to watch-i mean they definitely play hard especially on defense but their scoring problems make it hard to watch!
