Why is the Natty always played on a Monday instead of a

Saturday? Just seems like it would be better fit for a Saturday as is traditionally for college football, than a Monday. It would just be easier for fans to travel for a Saturday game and for TV ratings. Just my opinion. Maybe it’s been discussed before and I missed it. Do any of you know?

I am sure that you are right, but you know what. I bet that if they played the CFP Championship on Saturday and the NFL Playoffs on Sunday and Monday, they might end up with more total viewers.

umm the nfl is not moving their schedule to accommodate for

College. College is left to find a spot for their game- stadium wise and time slot. They take the void left by MNF ending with playoffs starting. It’s why the natty wasn’t played this past Monday and is later this year
