Why is it such a big fuss that Cole got some reps in?

Geez some people will complain about anything, no matter what you do.
It's all very simple, this is the same formula used by the coaches when Cole was starting the first couple games. The starting QB plays most of the game with the backup coming in for 2-3 series. Look at the Georgia and SC State games.
When Cole was starting DeShaun came in for a couple series. Now that DeShaun is starting, Cole will come in for a couple series. Our offensive mindset has not changed, just the 1st 2nd string QB's have flipped.
It's not hard to understand here people

I can see this from both sides here. I didn't have a huge problem with Stoudt going out there up 17 to 0. I think the more frustrating situation is only being up 2 scores with 5 minutes left against a team who showed they could score quickly. When else do you see a backup quarterback go in to the game in that situation? To make it worse, we ran a few conservative plays and gave it right back to UNC. And then Morris says he thought it was out of reach and one more score and Watson goes back out there? We may never have seen the ball again except possibly OT at that point.
