He's not the same player that he was before the injuries and he's got Gallman and Brooks ahead of him on the depth chart.

Because the players (at least two of them) in front of him are getting it done and there is no sense messing with a good thing.

Tyshon Dye. Gallman has 196 carries and Brooks only has 29. Brooks is averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He has run the ball well in his limited opportunities, with better speed in the open field than Gallman.
The better question is why are they not allowing another running back like Brooks to take some of the load off of Gallman.

I have wondered that but durability has been an issue with Brooks. I suspect that is some of it. I also think with Gallman a bit dinged he wont play as much Saturday and Brooks will do more. Just my guess though

As much as I have anticipated Dye becoming the RB that we all hoped he would be, I just don't think it has happened. I like Gallman and Brooks better, and I hate it for Dye. Dang - I would love to see the Tyshon Dye that we saw in his HS highlights. He flat out put some moves on people. But I just don't see that any more. A sad tale indeed as we really needed Dye to be healthy.

I still think all of you are wrong about "Tye Dye" as you labeled him when he came there. I really, really hope he proves all of you wrong. Maybe he doesn't fit in with Clemson's scheme, but I really hope he is getting great advice from somebody. Don't miss out.... Maybe the OC or dabo himself needs some counseling...ha! ha! and some dance lessons.

This season. He runs with violence, holds onto the ball, and falls forward/fights for extra yards. He welcomes the contact and I love that. With Choice coming back and Feaster.... good lawdy

Dye is not at least the 3rd string RB when i see Davidson & Fuller run tentatively and get thrown for losses when getting put in for meaningful snaps in meaningful games.

Dye is more of a 4.8 40 guy now than the 4.55 guy he was coming out of high school
