because Scout and Rivals look at height and 40 times and not much else. Tom Lugnebill at ESPN really likes him, thus his high ranking on the ESPN site.

You should look at who offers the kid, and not just their star rating. I will take the coaches evaluation over some hack at Scout that cares more about selling subscriptions. Also consider he was selected for the AU game and it is pretty clear that the pro coaches are high on the kid too.
