baseball at CofC, then coached at Spartanburg Methodist (took them their version of the College World Series) before Tanner recognized him as the tremendous coach he is and hired him. I haven't seen it, and if so I stand corrected, but has he professed a love for USuC or something?
To me he looks like another Dabo Swinney type. He didn't graduate from Clemson, but he's a young, energetic guy who relates well to and gets the most out of his players and assistants. He will put his heart and soul into our program.
Dude can flat out coach and will be asset to our program for years to come. Welcome aboard.

The only reason I see is that he was an assistant with coot Tanner 7/8 years ago. And that he lived and grew up in the Lugoff/Elgin area. I grew up in Sumter, and have lived here in cootlumbia about 20 years, and I hate coots. So I guess it's bc he earned a pay check from USUC baseball. I assume he doesn't dislike the coots right now, but his first game against them as a Clemson Tiger baseball coach, he will start to dislike them. After his first game against them in cootlumbia, he will start hating them, and the name gamecock will taste like fresh chicken Chit in his mouth!!!
