I am guessing because he didnt look like a top recruit.

He didnt have offers from any BCS schools.

During football recruiting people want a great team.

During baseball recruiting most everyone here b!tc#es about why so many of our recruits come from out of state

Some times we like to pick and choose our arguments :)
