Why are people so butt hurt about Dabo chewing out Teasdall?

Football is a tough game for tough people. Some people would probably slurp Danny Ford or Frank Howard if they did that, which I am positive they chewed a player or two out that deserved it. It's not like he does that every game like Muschamp.
I think people feel sorry just because it was the punter who messed up and caught his wrath.

I think, and it's just my opinion, that most people are probably upset at the second tirade, which I thought was a little bit excessive.

yelling. Then, she stayed mad for several hours. Toward the end of the anger she fussed again.
Therefore, Dabo's tirade seemed mere child's play to me. No doubt, young Mr. T learned a valuable lesson: DON'T MESS WITH THE DABS! lol

I told my younger Marine son, if that had been the military, Mr T, would be peeling potatoes until next football season.

that means the game would have been like a war. What could have caused everyone when one soldier decided not to follow an order? Life, losing the war and more?

Can you even IMAGINE what T-Net would be like if

that bone-headed play had cost us the game?
Just think ... the Adam Humphries issue on steroids.
Teasdall is very, very lucky that the team was able to overcome his huge mistake.
Otherwise, he probably would have been vilified by T-Netters for the rest of his life.
It wasn't as if he botched the snap or shanked the punt off the side of his foot. He just decided to do something totally off the wall for no reason whatsoever.
But, things worked out and by now, I imagine Dabo has given him a great big hug and told him that he loves him like a son ... which (by the way) I feel absolutely certain he does.

Did he forget it was 4th and 15?? Plus the punter starts 7 yards further back. He would have had to run 22 yards or so for the first. Even if he had utterly fooled everyone on UNC he's not fast enough to get 22 yards

We're supposed to lose to UNC. We didn't. The offside call could have gone back to bite them. The moral of the coach is one easy shot.

that would have not done the same thing. The key is that all the people complaining are not looking at the end result. Dabo had a talk with him afterwards and it all worked out. The kid knew he had messed up. This was not a "wait until I get you home" moment. That would have been meaningless. Some things just have to be handled right then and there. You punish, let them think about it and then later explain why you did. These people b itching should probably be more worried about their own kids and discipline because I don't see a lot of it in this old world anymore

I agree!! If this had been any other game I think Dabo wouldn't have been so intense. But...that game had HUGE implications and that play could've easily cost us a conference title and a chance at a national title. Sorry but I think the kid got what he deserved. I'm only 34 but I can remember seeing boys get chewed out way worse by coaches in high school. Things have changed a lot since high school. Feel like we are raising a generation of soft kids. Feel free to disagree. Just my opinion.

I agree! As far as him talking about it at half time, he said very little and said time to move on.This stopped the reporter from asking about it,as she would have.

EVERY one and their friggin' brother has become high and mighty and the world's protector and crusader for addressing any and all that THEY perceive to be an injustice...
