Why Jimbo should go to LSU

Here's why I think Jimbo should go to LSU. To put it simply, FSU has peaked. Much of their recent success is due to the following:
1. For many years now, both Florida and Miami have been dumpster fire programs under Muschamp, Shannon, Golden, etc. FSU had their pick of 4 and 5 stars during this time. No more. Richt is sitting in the best area to recruit within 60 miles at UM and he has proven he is a good recruiter. McIlwain is bringing UF back. So now there will be an intense 3 major school battle for top recruits in FL. instead of only 1. Add in Clemson, Auburn, Ohio State, etc. that get good FL talent, and FSU will not be able to maintain the recruiting dominance they've enjoyed lately.
2. The schedule is tougher. Every year they will play Louisville, Clemson, Miami, and Florida. Much tougher than it has been. All these schools are definitely trending up. FSU fans won't stand for mediocrity and will start screaming for Jimbo's head.
He can start over with a honeymoon period at LSU, and be secure for the next 5+ years. Saban is getting old and won't be at Alabama much longer. LSU is the only school in the state and they have good ties to Texas for easier recruiting.
If he's smart, it's time for him to jump before he is pushed out.

Good Lowered. He's won a national championship, went to the playoffs and won the ACC too many times to count. FSU ain't getting rid of him.
Richt proved he can recruit very well, play the nice guy coach with all of them, get smacked in big games, and let the players run wild. He's in a perfect area now for it all to happen again. Look what he left at Georgia! Hahaha
Florida is always stacked with recruits. Everybody comes and picks from the Florida kids. Not sure where you've been or what you've been watching, but Fla St never just dominates Florida.

of the reasons you named...
The state of Florida is covered up in talent. Most of the kids want to play at an in--state school. Florida, Miami and FSU have all recruited well, when all 3 teams have been good.
The thing that should scare a Clemson or Ohio St fan is that Richt has the ability to "wall off" south Florida much like Jimmy Johnson did. Richt could actually hurt our recruiting, not Jumbo.
If he goes to LSU, it's just because he wants a change. Nothing more. He can accomplish the same things at FSU as he can at LSU.

I think the days of FSU playing in the ACCCG are dying a slow death. CLEMSON and UL are going to win it more than FSU will, unless something serious happens. No - FSU must get used to being the also-ran team in the Atlantic. FSU fans might get a little upset after 3-4 more years of FSU coming in 3rd in the Atlantic. That has a funny ring to it. It's going to be fun to watch.
