Who's the most likely to lose a regular-season game?

Oct 15, 2018, 2:37 PM

Alabama, Ohio St or Notre Dame? OSU and ND have had two close calls already.

OSU still has UM and Mich St to play, of note, but also has Purdue, Nebraska and Maryland.

ND has no ranked teams left - Navy, Northwestern, FSU, Syracuse and the real USC.

Bama still has UT, LSU, Miss St, Citadel (giant killers!) and Auburn.

My money (two cents) is on UM to finally beat OSU and LSU to upset Bama at LSU. I can see ND losing to SoCal, maybe or, outside shots, NW or Cuse, but doubtful on those last two.

Of the three, I think the most likely to lose will be Bama when they play LSU, although all three have their risks.

I would say ND, they're not that good, just lucky.

Interesting.

The one thing that LEAPS out at me is an LSU win over bama, which (if it) knocks bama out of the seccg, it then puts them INTO the cfp - because, you know, ‘bama’ - which probably means two damb sec teams into the cfp - because, you know ‘sec’....

Time will tell.

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

I think Michigan beats Ohio St.

I think Southern Cal beats ND

I think Bama and Clemson win out.

CFP:

1.) Bama
2.) Clemson
3.) Michigan
4.) Oklahoma? Ohio State? Texas? Oregon?

Alabama, they will lose by less than three to either Auburn, or a one loss Georgia team in the SEC championship. Then the committee will be able to justify putting the SEC Champ and Alabama in. The committee set a dangerous precedent last year, and now that the SEC knows, they will continue to exploit it for the $$$$$$$. But I also wear tin foil hats sometime.....so....

Notre Dame will lose to USC on the road

Oct 15, 2018, 2:56 PM

USC is starting their traditional late season push after laying two eggs early. Watch them run the table and ESPN will be pushing them as a 2 loss CFP team like they did in 2016 (with 3 losses).

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.

Don’t see bama losing. I think ND has a better chance of losing to FSU, syr, or usc than Ohio st does to mich or mich st

Ohio State, according to FPI win-out percentages

Oct 15, 2018, 3:40 PM

Chances to win out according to FPI:

Alabama: 44%
Ohio State: 28.3%
Notre Dame: 33.3%

So while all 3 teams are likely to lose another game than win out, OSU has the best chance to lose a game.
