It's definitely a long shot, make no mistake. But I think his main recruiter at Michigan was the D coordinator, who left to become the HC at Maryland. So there's that.

Then there is the fact that his mother definitely plays an active role in the process and from everything I've heard, she is awesome and wants what is best for Rashan in all aspects of college life. And her brother (Rashan's uncle) happens to live in... Wait for it... Anderson, SC.

It's a long shot, but as Jim Carrey famously said in Dumb and Dumber: "So you're telling me there's a CHANCE!"
