@ first glance into their Hitting Stats:
Zac Taylor (#37) is their "big gun", Batting Avg .331, w/ 10 HR, Slugging % .637

Illinois has 8 players w/ 45 or more hits this season!!!

Don't sleep on these guys as all have over 60 hits this season:
Grant Van Scoy (#27) Batting Avg .347
Michael Massey (#6) Batting Avg .325
Jack Yalowitz (#3) Batting Avg .296
Cam McDonald (#25) Batting Avg .282

As a Team they strike out 6-7 times per game . . . They put the ball in play!!!

The ACC is better than the Big Ten in baseball and Ole Miss burned a lot of pitching in their conference tournament.

Tigers will dominate the regional but will have to beat last year's finalists in the supers to get to Omaha.

It's doable.

Nice stats, thanks. I was looking over them too. 38 homers and their home field is the same size as ours. Oxfords a little smaller except down the lines.

Illinois was definitely being looked at as a host. Definitely can’t sleep on them. A little surprised Monte going with Hennessy first but I guess he likes the matchups.

About the same results against coastal that we had but not a lot of comparisons.
