Baseball for sure because there is absolutely no reason Clemson baseball is this bad now. Under ML it has gone down every season. The last 3 years we knew for sure that there was no chance at all to advance at home 2 of those years . Because the team was so bad at the end it was obvious. Well coached teams get better as the year goes on .

Bingo. And Clemson baseball actually has pedigree. Clemson baseball is supposed to compete for championships every year. There is no chance at a championship this year, in year 5 of Monte Lee, at a school like Clemson. Now that’s frustrating.

Stop with the self-righteous underhanded insults. If the play of our basketball and baseball teams doesn't frustrate you even a little bit, then you're either
A) not a fan
OR
B) a blatant liar.

Baseball and it’s not close. If you let Clemson basketball frustrate you, you haven’t been around long enough. Clemson b-ball has been pretty much the same team for my entire life. Now there is zero excuse for Clemson baseball to be as terrible as they are this year considering we have been historically an above average program

I could not agree with you more. A once proud program has lapsed into mediocrity. Time to abandon all this high tech BS and get back to fundamentals. Opponents consistently give up the right side of the infield and we hardly ever take advantage of it. I have not seen one player in the past 5 years choke up with 2 strikes to shorten up their swing and never seen so many hitters take third strikes. When your trying to bunt a runner from 2nd base you should never bunt to the right side because it leaves the play in front of the fielder. I could go on and on but to me it is highly frustrating to watch this team get worse every year. What I find most frustrating is I do believe we have the athletes to compete but the lack of fundamentals are holding us back.

I am going with basketball. Such a rollercoaster of highs and lows. I realize I should not expect much based on our history but that's no excuse for Brownell's 10 years of mediocrity or worse. Too early in baseball season to give up hope.

I just don’t get how you guys say we are this bad it’s 13 games into a long season and we are 10-3. Is the hitting great? Absolutely not. Is the pitching great? Yes. Can the defensive improve yes. But to think this season is over IMO is loco. Baseball is frustrating bc we can’t hit this year for some reason. We have very little power and have to pitch gems to win every game. My answer is basketball bc CBB keeps getting these extensions while accomplishing nothing outside of ONE season. Every year we should make the ncaa tourney and some how we don’t. Idk just not a believer at all in CBB and starting to not become a believer with CML with some of these line ups starting a guy hitting .000 over Sam Hall. Just insane in my mind one was hitting over .300 for a majority of the season. The other took 35 games last year to get a single hit. Asinine.

Baseball, because we had a great coach and fired him. We now have a coach who still tries to play home run ball even though the new bat rules make that style of play impossible.

Baseball for me. The coach that got fired just did not recruit the southeast very well. I am not sure how that happened but I like most heard rumors. Clemson needs better pitchers and some hitting. I hope someone will step up on the pitching staff but don't count on it @ this point.

Watching a basketball game is more frustrating than watching a baseball game BUT the baseball teams end of the year results are more frustrating than basketballs because of historic prominence and expectations overall.

What is very clear to me after reading this entire thread is that some of the people who complain about baseball don't actually watch our team play.
My answer is that baseball frustrates me more, when they struggle, simply because I care much more about Clemson baseball, and the sport in general, than basketball.

Basketball and it's not even close. College baseball is not that big of a deal imo. Moreover, college baseball is so much more complex to put together a really good team.

Baseball.
We’ve always been low on the basketball totem pole
Not many excuses left for the baseball team past few years.
This year looks ok so far but games like cofc are concerning for sure. Sunday late in the game was good to see that runs could be manufactured the old school way. Weekend pitching looks good too, midweek I’m not even sure what to think right now we’ll see with two this week.

Really if you let basketball upset you too much, you deserve it. Most frustrating thing about that sport is the money vs. results.
