Adding ND? Guess you forgot, ND is not all in. There will be no redo on tv contract.

The other sports are part of the contract as well. 2 new tea

ms triggered the contract renegotiation previously. I'm not sure of the provisions for scenarios like this.

Football is driving the TV revenue numbers. ND doesn't help

by not being all in with their football ptogram. The Maryland population base is bigger than Louisville and even bigger than the state of Kentucky.

2 or 3 ACC home games against them every year so that's a firm product to market. Its not all in. but its not nothing either.

I heard that FSU and Clemson told the ACC that ND should never ever play Wake, Duke, Cuse or UL in football and that should help TV ratings.

Well w/ ND playing five teams, 2 or 3 of those games will be played in ACC stadiums each year, sounds like a redo to me also UL offers a new market and i think UVA takes care of the DC market.

Wrong ND is in the ACC and does open up the TV negotiations. Also ND brings NBC to the table for the ACC network. The contract won't change based on Louisville because they are a replacement for MD. ND is not joining in football but they do bring 2-3 games to ESPN per year based on the agreement with the ACC. That means ESPN will get to televise 2-3 games and all of NDs other sports. Look for the ACC network to be expanded soon. TCI is reporting that NBC and ESPN are involved in this effort and NDs national following is key in the negotiation.

It talks about the ACC/ND in negotiations with BOTH NBC & ESPN for an ACC Network.

Re: When does the ACC redo their tv contract?

I would think NBC would maintain ND home games and the road games would fall into the ACC package. There might be some renegotiation but most likely not a major bump that would have come with full membership.

I hope not soon. With our additions we will get paid less.
