When did we start doing the Victory Walk?

I was looking through some photos today and have one of the victory walk prior to the Auburn kickoff game in Atlanta in 2012. Got me wondering when we started that ritual.

Anyone here know?

Im not sure about the "Victory Walk"

But one of the first things Dabo did, was he implemented the "Tiger Walk" his first game as interim head coach, against Georgia Tech. Similar to other schools, he encouraged fans to show up early and greet the team as they arrived to the stadium and line the walk to the locker room before the game.

Is that what you are asking? or is Victory walk something different

Victory Walk is different that Tiger Walk.

Victory walk is during warm-ups on the filed. The lock arms and walk toward the endzone thing.

I remember them doing this going back to when Woody Dantzler was there in the early 2000s

This is they way it seems to me. Just interesting to me that its origins are never really talked about (whereas the origins of Tiger Walk are mentioned often).
