I don't know how well we are going to hit ACC Friday night starters, but if you told me we would score 5+ in 2 games then I would sign up for Saturday and Sunday and hope we can win 3-2 on Friday night.

I would imagine most games are lower scoring on Friday nights across the country with everyone's best arm throwing.

The better question may be can we outscore BC's offense if any of our starter's have an outing like Sharpe did last weekend.

Not sure we can outscore BC if our pitching flounders. They can rake. Team batting average is .326. Ours is .243. They've got 3 guys hitting over .400 and one hitting .390. Pitching is their problem. They have the highest era in the ACC. Good pitching beats good hitting. If our pitching does not flounder we should win.

Well I wouldn't say Sharpe floundered against scar but he certainly didn't have his best stuff.

Basically what I'm saying is, can we beat them if they score 4 runs off of one of our starters in 4 innings?

I think that is close to what Sharpe gave up.

Obviously we don't want to try to beat them in a 9-8 type game.

BC is 5-6 and without looking I’m sure they have played all their games on the road vs bad teams . They have hit the ball well this year but haven’t seen the pitching they will today .
The Tigers have 2-3 players that can hit so hopefully some timely walks and we score a few. I say we win 4-2
