What's the scoop on football tickets for non-IPTAY members?

I a Clemson alum and haven't been back for a game since I've graduated back in 2001. My wife has become a rabid Clemson fan because of me. She went to 2 schools without football programs.

I want to surprise her with a trip to Death Valley and want the experience to be phenomenal. I'm not an IPTAY member. What's the best way to get tickets these days? I'm thinking of taking her to the North Carolina, NC State, or Louisville.
