Odds SCU beats LSU, FLA & CLEMSON: 16.2 %
Odds Clemson can beat SCU in Tiger Town: 29%
Odds Clemson can beat SCU in Tiger Town: 37% with (+1) turnovers
Odds Clemson can beat SCU in Tiger Town: 52% with (+2) turnovers
This analysis is precise based on Sagarin formula(s).

jk. my heart says usuc has no shot at beating any of the 3. my head says they can steal 1 to go 1-2, and the 1 won't be against us.

This is coming from a Tiger fan,but if the coots can go into LSU,and Florida and come out with a win, then they will go thru Clemson like Sherman went thru Atlanta. The one thing Clemson must avoid is a coot squad that will have no fear of playing on the road(they would be undefeated)when they come to our Death Valley. Remember,Spurrier has already won here once and that was with a team much less talented than the squad he has now. Clemson can be South Carolina, but it will be tougher if the coots are undefeated away from Willy B.Stadium.

All I have to say is, this SCU team struggled with vandy and Kentucky. They really could've lost both of those games. Now maybe they are getting better, because they sure looked good against Ga, but I swear that was a lot of home field advantage, momentum, and luck. The coots always seem to have things go their way. I feel like they could lose all three of these games, but also don't forget about Tennessee. Yea, they blow, but they're very comparable to the other previously mentioned SEC teams. So, SCU could lose 4.

We have not looked good on the road but I am not sure its necessarily the road that is the cause. I think we still play somewhat to the level of the opponent and to the opponents intensity. Which can bite you. However, I fon't think we will have trouble playing with intensity at the Swamp or either Death Valley. We could very well lose any of them but I doubt its because we play poorly. The other teams will just have to beat us and all 3 are capable. We we will be ready to play all of those teams, though. Those are not letdown type games.

it's not so much of a let down by you, but a pick-up from the home team and the crowds energy. game day helped y'all against uga, and don't think it didn't. see us vs. gatech a few yrs. back.

I really can not see how SC could have lost to Kentucky. I know they were flat the first half but they out scored them 31 -0 in the second half.

The odds of them beating LSU are not good according to the odds makers. There are to many other variables to make a prediction on the other two. A lot can happen including injuries. Anyway we should be focused on VT. It is the only game that matters at this point in time.

Odds USC beating all three: ~ 12.5%
Oct 12, 2012, 12:46 PM
|
|
If one assumes that each game is a toss up and that SCAR has a 50% chance of winning each time on the field we get:
.50 x .50 x .50 = 12.5%
So there is your literal answer.

But each game is not a toss up. As of today, SC would be fairly heavy favorite to beat Clemson.

odds of beating LSU are good seeing how LSU is missing half their team and starting all inexperienced linemen. also have the 100th ranked offense.pitiful. No big achievement if USuCk beats them. They will lose to UF and Clemson.

Did UK not almost score right before the half? That would have put them above the Coots by 21. That would have been tough to come back from. So in my book, they could've lost.

26% to run the table - Clemson 49% - if we stun them early

LSU 40% - I don't think LSU lose 2 in a row, plus its a night game. Florida 50/50 Clemson 49% - if we can stun them early ala 2004 w/ Dunham blowing up Boyd. Here it is in case you forgot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7wK4Aew_GU
