the number of White People who have been shot and killed by Police so far this year.
No protests. No riots. No looting. No walkouts. No Blackouts, or even Whiteouts, on Twitter. No signs painted on Streets. No Yalie-preppy-asian rich chicks threatening to "knife" me on video. No ubiquitous T-shirts. No GoFundMe hysteria raking in hundreds of millions of dollars - maybe one, here and there, to try to bring in de minimis funeral expenses.
And no, certainly no special End Zone Celebrations either.
Condolences to the families of all shooting victims.

defunding would only be part of the measures, which would include training and accountability and more oversight among others.

It does no good in the end though. It doesn't fix problems in any way, and so problems go unfixed.
Whatever their "different history", this country since 1960 has rightly rid itself of Systemic Racist Institutions. But those with their "alternative history" don't want to give up their status as "victims" though. Heck, there's just too much profit in it.
My suggestion: Pay reparations in exchange for citizenship. Give money to anyone who wants to move their citizenship to a country in Africa, but in return they have to renounce citizenship in the USA.
What we can do is base this on MLK Jr's proposed government compensatory program. In roughly 1968 he suggested $50 billion over 10 years. Let's see, there were about 23 million African-Americans in 1970. That would have been about $2175 per persons back then.
But adjusted for inflation since then it would be about $15,000 per person. Fair enough.

The drug-buying population is effectively "voting" for violence. It's only going together worse.
