What would you do?

The one aspect of our overall offensive play calling that frustrates me is being ultra conservative when given bad field position. Run, Run, then pass on 3rd down, with result that usually punts the ball back to the opposition. I understand the not wanting to give up a turnover deep in our own end, but there are quick slant passes, or jet sweeps that have better chance of success with not much risk. 3 and out hurts our own defense. What would your playcalling philosophy be in this situation?

I would not complain about anything. We are 23-1 in the last 24 games. I'm happy!

I am very happy. But, like Dabo always says, I want us to be the best we can be. This is one area for improvement. He has already fixed Special Teams this year, for the most part. It is nice to have small problems to critique instead of big ones.

I would run, run then pass for the first four or five possessions, get them in a lull then bust a long pass on first down with play action for 92 yd. TD!!!

I would run the ball jet sweeps read option or Gallman straight up the middle alot then that opens up deep balls slants and even watson pulling one down for good yards...i feel like we started to show alittle bit Saturday night but it seems to me when when we have a pass play watson is flat footed throwing the ball..... We really need to try out some plays and test some of our receivers these next two weeks.....so when we make it to Florida state we can blow them out the water..... Because Louisville fans are already saying we will get beat by fsu...... Lol they are still salty

I would advocate being conservatively aggressive...or...agressively conservative. Depends on the marker. ;)
