For me, its "C" ... with the attrition on defense, if Venables could keep the Jackets out of the endzone, that would send a message to the country.

When Bama, LSU or UGa mops the floor with an inferior conference opponent, the story line is, "look how great Bama, LSU and Georgia really are".
When Clemson curbstomps an inferior conference opponent, the story line is, "look how bad the rest of the ACC is".

I'm not sure anything tomorrow night is going to have me incredibly impressed.
I guess some young guys showing their talent in their performance in the first game would be pretty impressive.
What I would like to see most of all is really clean and sharp play.
If our timing on offense is good and no penalties and turnovers, and our defense doesn't blow assignments or get penalties, then that sets us up very well to get through the schedule cleanly.
