FSU gets beaten by Clemson..
Let me guess:
1. "FSU overrated with wins over lack-luster opponents"
2. "FSU players had food poisoning"
3. "FSU had no sleep from nightmares of Sammy running all over the field"
4. "FSU caught looking ahead to Florida game, which isnt for a few weeks"
Basically I would say they will make up every excuse in the book as to why they lost and our Clemson Tigers will get no love from them. Thats just fine in my book, as long as we win!!
My prediction: Clemson 34 FSU 23

If its a close win, there will be a perception (right or wrong) that FSU is still great, Clemson has the talent too, and we have the ability to show up in pressure games.
If its a blowout (i dont think it will) you get them all saying that FSU is just not that good and we still dont really know who Clemson is... blah blah blah SEC speed.

if we hold FSU under 30 like you have indicated, then we have a great chance to beat them. Tall order though. I expect that we will need a minimum of 30 to escape, 50 to feel good about a "W", and 70 for a sure "W".  70 won't happen - so whatever that tells you.
