What was Alabama fed at the WH

Jan 17, 2019, 1:49 PM

I can't find any info on previous meals fed to NCAA champs in the past. I'm guessing they got a warm reception on the South Lawn and that was it. Just tired of people making political hay out of a Big Mac. ANY trip to meet the President, no matter who the President is for your accomplishments, is a lot more important than food. Maybe next year he will feed the Tigers BBQ.

Bama wasn't fed, Ohio St either, Auburn got cookies, this while there wasn't a shutdown and the President at the time sure didn't reach into his own pocket and provide a meal. Whether you like the man or not, he does have a grasp on how to deal with people.

My aunt who along with my uncle are both Clemson grads 1952, sent me that info last night cause she was really irritated by the coverage by the msm!

Oops, I made my Aunt an Uncle older than they are, they graduated from Clemson in '59! She hammered me for that.

Where are you getting your information?

Jan 17, 2019, 3:06 PM [ in reply to Re: What was Alabama fed at the WH ]

If they had prepared food for the team in the White House kitchens, Trump still would have had to pay for it. Obama paid for any food or drink served during his 8 years as well. That's how it works. The only exception is for state functions.
