No matter who we have this year we have got to address the short yardage offense. Last year we were often undecided even with 6oo lb. of blockers in the backfield and a pro drafted running back. Stringing it out around end didn't get the job done. We addressed our special teams last year and they improved greatly, even to the point of picking up a #1 kicker on scholarship this year. Those are things that won and will win games. We ran a different set on short yardage when Taj was Qb and although i have no records it appeared we were greatly successful. I hope our co ocs address this issue going into this tough season as it might be a game changer as it was against Pitt.

I'll take the bait, Yes, I think that Woody was a good enough passer for a natural RB, he could win with our now offense.

I love Woody - one of my all-time favs. However, I'm not sure if his deep ball was good enough to win it all.

I still like the Jumbo Package for short yardage. Not sure why we don't punish some teams with it.
