What this will cost Sammy:

May 4, 2012, 1:33 PM

The Heisman: Losing at least one game, that being a national televised game, will hurt Sammy big time. Plus voters will not vote for him out of principle.

Pride: Gamecocks and the rest of the ACC will be drooling about this, even though that will be hyporcites most of the time.

Our Trust: As Clemson fans, we put a lot of pride, faith, and bragging on Sammy, especially towards Gamecock fans. To be this much in the spotlight and do something this stupid is unbelievable. We bought shirts with his likeness, we told our kids that is how you are supposed to act, we bought his hype.

Respect: You got to earn it back!

Oh, please. Your trust? Your respect? I'm sure he is very concerned with earning both of those things back from you.

The only thing that will happen is him being suspended for a game.

This is a bunch of complete ########. He got caught with weed. So what! As an attorney, the only thing that I would advise him would be to never give consent for a cop to search your trunk. They can't do it. It requires probable cause, which is an extremely high standard to meet. The mere scent of marijuana does not give them probable cause. Cops will often lie and say "if you don't consent then I'll go get a warrant from the judge." Your response should be "go get that warrant" because a judge would never issue a warrant to search a trunk in that kind of situation. The moral of the story is that if you're traveling with drugs, then put them in your trunk. And if you get pulled over and the cop asks to search your trunk, tell him no.

What does a trunk have to do with Sammy's arrest? It was found on his person. Actually read the affidavit before opening your mouth with useless information.
