What the absolute ####

Jan 11, 2019, 9:13 AM

I'm going into baby sitting.

These people want $20 an hour. I DON'T MAKE $20 AN HOUR and I bust my ### way more than a babysitting job would ever do.

I'm in the wrong line of work.

But sit around a house all day while some sniveling brat runs around until it's time to give him/her their benadryl nap would be pretty amazing.

I'm thoroughly convinced that if you give that stuff

Jan 11, 2019, 9:26 AM

to them too many times their brain will start producing less melatonin and they won't be able to go to sleep without it anymore.

Wife of says that's not true. I don't care.

about 25% of kids go APE#### on Benadryl.

so you gotta test em first.

I have two cousins that looked like they were on Meth when they took Benadryl.

to him, but my middle kid is hella nuts when you give him syzzurp (benadryl). The other two get jacked up, but not like the middle one. Then they pass out and have nightmares. I think Im going to try it some time soon with them, a little family experiment. CHase mine with bourbon though.

2024 purple level memberringofhonor-greenr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Depends on the age.

Jan 11, 2019, 9:22 AM

3 or under, they're earning that, if they do a good job. BIG IF there. That's changing diapers, feeding, naps, cleaning up the mess they make, and actually INTERACTING with them and not texting their 37 boyfriends, scanning social media, and/or otherwise disengaged on their phones.

But most baby sitters charge $10/hr. $20 is pretty steep.

Seriously, if it's a teenage girl..heck any female under 25yo, tell her to turn off her phone, or confiscate it until she leaves. You'll end up with an injured kid.

we usually offer to provide dinner, aren't always taken up on it....

kids are both pretty self-sufficient when it comes to bathing now, but the expectations once were that the babbysitter would take care of that & bedtime.

I'd up it to $15/hr if she wore some of her instagram outfits to the house, though

Like to fish?

Buy a 21+ foot center console. Put a playpen in the back, put the kids in life jackets. Fish off the front.

Write the boat off as a business expense.

Get paid $20 per hour.

Done.
