What team in the top 15

Oct 6, 2019, 1:25 PM

Could Auburn or Florida actually beat? Neither team has a QB worth a dang. If they can't beat a top 15 team, how can they be in the top 10?

And please don't make me sick talking about Florida's great defense. If he QB you are facing stinks, you are bound to look good.

Truth is there aren’t enough non conference matchups to accurately determine which teams are the best. This is why the way college football goes about selecting these teams is so absurd. The system would actually work better in the NFL where there are more games and less teams.

Looking at the AP poll

Oct 6, 2019, 2:27 PM

Oregon (obviously), Boise, Utah.

They would also have a very good chance against Wisconsin, and Notre Dame. They would also have a shot against Penn State and Texas too.

I respectfully disagree with Wisconsin or ND. Penn State.....maybe. Texas.....maybe, but I don’t think so. Too much offense for either of those teams.

It really doesn’t matter that you disagree because you’re not going to look at this objectively. Your mind is already made up that Auburn and Florida suck because they played a turnover filled game yesterday. But the truth is either one of those teams would be favored against every team he listed by people who are looking at this objectively. Both Auburn and Florida can win against almost anyone they play because their defenses (another aspect you are either failing to recognize or not capable of seeing) can keep them in the game and their offenses can be just good enough to win.

My wife is an Auburn grad, so when they are not playing us

I pull hard for Auburn. I'm very familiar with their team and their strengths.

Nix was awful yesterday. Gus should have pulled him after the first series of the second half. He was struggling the entire game except for 1 or 2 throws. Bad decisions all day. They have an experienced OL and DL, but other than the 4th quarter of the Oregon game, Nix has struggled.

They should have brought in sophomore Joey Gatewood at QB yesterday, he is 6-5 232, and has a big arm. Don't be surprised to see Gatewood starting next week. Nix was a train wreck Saturday.
