The year's version is just another example of Monte ball. Our situational awareness has stunk for 4 years. We always swing for the fence,cannot bunt, our pitchers do not develop beyond high school, and we continue to make base running errors. This will not end this year, but it ain't gonna end well!

Early on we looked pretty good, then we completely fell apart, and then had “some” success late.
I think our pitching staff needs some help, and we need to hit at a higher percentage. We aren’t loaded with power hitters, but we also don’t play small ball very well. We don’t seem to have much speed on the base paths. Recruiting needs to improve a lot in the coming years.

The one word I would use? "Tigers" Yes there are some issues but they are "our" team and our coaches. Let not be too hard on them. We are disappointed but not even close to the disappointment our guys on the team have. We love em when they win and we love em when they lose.

We were never going deep into the tourney with our pitching staff. You have to be able to hold scores down and win 2-1, 3-2, 4-3 type of games in post season especially.
Looking back, for instance, during one stretch (starting with Duke series) where we lost 6 of 7 games, in the six LOSSES, we scored 8, 3, 8, 6, 7, and 8 runs. That kind of offensive production should be enough to win five of those six games, given any decent pitching.

Disappointing...After the Tigers started out 25-8 it sure looked like the season was gonna be a really promising one and very good one at that but then from the FSU series on it just went the complete opposite.The Pitching Staff,fielding and the hitting just changed completely and even coaching mistakes would happen at times.
