I just don't understand the logic of signing so many QBs. With Chase Brice coming this summer and Trevor coming next spring, that makes 6 viable QBs by my count. Will we just cut 2 next season?

Trevor has a higher ceiling than Watson. I know that is crazy, but it's true. Who knows if he will achieve it but it's possible.

Well, Deshaun was clearly the best QB on the team his freshman year and he didn't start first half of season.....
I don't THINK Dabo likes to start freshman QBs.

Dw4 also had a broken collar bone which held him back, then the finger, so that's why not that he was a freshman.

I think Hunter Johnson will start practicing and begin playing ( at some point in time ) with a sense of urgency. If He wants to be the starter this year and next, He will be playing with a sense of urgency. If Lawrence comes and "wow's everyone, He'll still have to sit behind a winning QB if Johnson is destined to be the man. As far as Kelly, not a popular opinion, but I'm not alone. He would make an awesome running back, a power back really, Derrick Henry type with his height and speed. Just saying, if he wants to play at the next level, he better decide between TE and RB IMO.
With Johnson here now, and Lawrence coming in, it seems almost inevitable. Remember we've still got Israel, Cooper and Chase. That is a log jam of QB's. Johnson learns the system quickly, smart, athletic, cannon, precise, it's only a matter of time IMO.
