I'm with you on that. Arkie is close to his old stomping grounds and he still has contacts all over Texas. He would do an awesome job. That being said, we could have something special next year and I hope he sees that.

Malzahn will be at Arky. Thats a NO brainer..."The Chad" is awesome, and will get his shot. But he isnt going anywhere for awhile, and neither is Dabo...I may get blasted for this. But theres more important things than beating the coots.

so that shows Morris maybe out too. I think Arkansas maybe going to a pro style offense like everyone else is. I think they have no desire to hire Gus, then they're probably moving away from that kind of offense

Arkansas is only going to hire a proven Head Coasch. After this mess of a season they will not take a chance on anyone without time at the helm, no matter how great of a OC he might be.

That comment diesn't make sense.You want to fire
a coach with a 10-2 record if he loses to usuc.
I remember sos didn't beat Fla.St.very often,but
Fla.didn't fire him.Look in the mirror and see if
you are growing feathers.BTW, Morris will be back
as OC next yr.

I don't want to fire him, but if we lose to the coots again that means we lost both decent teams on our schedule. This was supposed to be our year, I'm not sure how we explain this.

Even with a loss to USCe, Dabo isn't going anywhere. His buyout is substantial.
As for Chad, he will not be Arkansas next head coach, they want someone with expirience and a proven winner...Charlie Strong or even Butch Davis. Morris is pretty far down the list of possibilities. Also, if Coach Morris is a man of integrity, which in my dealings with him he appears to be, he will be here next season. He's made promises to not only recruits and current players, but to his family that they will be in Clemson for quite some time. Both he and Venables and their families really love Clemson.

A possible second ACC loss by FSU, sending Clemson back to the ACC title game? If so, Dabo isn't going anywhere.

i think arkansas goes after a big name. they have big boy wal-mart money and were paying petrino over 4 million a year in total compensation. the names being thrown around are art briles, dana holgerson, chris peterson, gary patterson. i think with the money they will pay, they get a proven hc. but if they go with briles or patterson, that will leave two texas jobs open and maybe houston will come open. i have heard tommy tubeville to arkansas also but i dont believe that, but if it were true, that would leave tt open. i think when morris leaves it will be for the texas area.

Seriously I would say Thank you for back to back 10 win seasons. USC just happen to be as good as they ever have been and we need to fix that, but a Bowl win would soften the blow with an 11-win season (maybe 12 if FSU slips)

Bc they want a proven coach. Kentucky may be a strong possibility. It is a compliment your OCs name pops up but dont be so naive to thi k he is gonna turn down HC money to stay the OC anywhere. If Arky goes for Strong then watch out for Lousiville making a run at Chad. He is legit tho and I say that as a coot.
