I dunno.. with his pedigree of a Top 10 WR out of HS, great speed, hands, size and college system. He will get a chance between the 5th and 7th. I think our recent WR successes in the NFL will help him be taken more seriously.

He has shown grit in coming back from injury...He needs the All Star game and combine to solidify.

Reader is a big athletic kid..not a lot of wear on his body..4-3 plugger and platoon player.. 5-7 rounds.

If he runs in the 4.4 range at the combine I believe he gets drafted.

And I agree that our receivers playing in the NFL will get him more attention.

in the NFL with his speed and be very successful. As Clemson fans, we are a bit spoiled with our recent NFL wide receiver talent. He may not be as good as Sammy or Nuk or Martavis, but he can be a very good NFL receiver.

make him an mid round pick at worst. However, I think it will depend on his hands and his route running. With that size and speed, if scouts believe he can run crisp routes and get open, and make the tough grabs, he should go in the early rounds. If not, he could fall to the late rounds. With his measureables and his toughness, I've gotta believe somebody picks him up regardless. He could be a real "surprise" in the draft if he shows out at the combine, and have a great NFL career (like Martavis).

In shorts, Peake was actually faster than Martavis and Sammy. He has great size and should test great athletically. He'll also probably be the best blocking WR in the draft.
However, his negatives are that he has trouble high pointing balls or making catches with his hands over his shoulders. Teams may also question his desire, because he doesn't attack balls, lay out for passes that aren't perfect or do well on those competitive 50/50 balls.
I think he could be a 5th-6th round pick and help a team though.

This has him as the 24th WR. 5-7th round. The combine these days plays a huge role in their draft status. Most mock drafts or projections won't be close till after the combine and workouts.
