What are the best restaurants in Greenville?

Oct 2, 2014, 12:39 PM

I have a Syracuse friend going up for that game and he wants to know. He likes the good stuff. I am a Lemongrass Thai fan, but we usually just boogie until late in Clemson before heading to the hotel.

Yard House opens today. Features 130 beers on tap. Seats nearly 300 guests and 88 more on the outdoor patio. Might be worth a try. On woodruff rd. Magnolia Park

I'm a former Greenville (really Powdersville) transplant also living in Charleston. Every time we go home, Pita House and Stax Omega are our spots, if we're not up on Keowee. Then again, those aren't really what I'd consider impressive, but just the two places I miss living down here.

(Stax would kill it down here.)

I got a friend in Jersey, when he comes down we always go the steakhouse in Wahalla for fried chicken, he also loves waffle house because they do not have them up there. I downtown Greenvile I like Trio, Ford's or Charlie's Steak House if I got a little extra cash.

I can't say enough about Carl Sobisinki. He's done a lot for the scholarship fund. In fact, there's a plaque in the restaurant that was presented to him as a token of appreciation for his work in starting up my relatives memorial scholarship fund.
