I think the limited scholarships and low budget are built in excuses

For when DRad makes a bad hire. Even if Lee comes from CoC and has success, this could be just another stop for him for where he wants to go. Like it or not, everyone wants to win and the Clemson program isn't built to compete with the big spenders. Wouldn't surprise me if Lee turns it down and DRad just goes and gets an assistant and save some money.
Either way, there will be a new name to ##### and scream ab firing.

the acm only affects a very few out of staters ......with only 11.7 scholarships split between 27 players, they probably give a bit more to out of staters to cut the higher costs meaning alot of the local kids dont get money......locals end up coming to clemson as walk ons.....if thats the case they have to qualify as regular general population students with the 1200+ SATs and the 4.0 GPAs.....cant exactly play for CU while enrolled at greenville tech in the bridge program......thats why C average players like wingo or roth end up going to usuc and not getting a look at CU.....the deck is stacked.
