I love the running down the hill, but you have to admit

Oct 6, 2018, 8:24 PM

That is the second best entrance in college football

No - no I don’t. But thanks.***

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

To what? Enter the sandman isn’t anywhere near the best Metallica song. We should enter to whiplash or phantom lord.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

I was there last year, it was pretty good.

2nd to a chicken coming out of a shower curtain amidst a heavy fog of fire extinguishers. That is clearly the most intimidating.

I'll admit that it is way over rated

Oct 6, 2018, 8:27 PM

yawn

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think piping in music is a lame "tradition."

Oct 6, 2018, 8:28 PM

I'm glad it gets the crowd excited, and I think it's fun that the fans and players embrace it so much, but isn't one of the best in college football in my opinion.

Not really. Think ours is the only one and everybody else just has a variation of everyone else... otherwise, we stand alone.

No fair trotting out Metallica. It was really cool though. That crowd is fired up.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree 100% It's absolutely awesome. Except they

Oct 6, 2018, 8:30 PM

cut the song off too early.

It would be lame (because they pipe in a song from the 80's) if the energy wasn't so incredible. I get pumped up and I don't like Virginia Tech much at all.

Still, our's is way way way better because of originality.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They played it all the way through the chorus tonight...

Oct 6, 2018, 8:49 PM

first time I’ve heard them play it past the intro.

Oldschool57 wants to watch them enter the field to the tune of coal miner’s daughter.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Any "tradition" that requires electricity and an 8 track...

Oct 6, 2018, 8:37 PM

...to pulled it off is right up there with HS fire extinguisher tradition.

We're #1! We're #1!

Oct 6, 2018, 8:38 PM

I've been to VT. While it does get the crowd going, there is nothing unique or that interesting about their entrance.

I agree, we sat around Va Tech fans and they were nice. Very complimentary about our entrance. They really wanted us to brag on there’s and how great it was. It was good, but not nearly the end all be all they make it out to be.

They are nice people, and I'm sure they believe their entrance is the best.

Nothing beats 2001 and fire extinguishers for me.

I vote for 2nd place

Colorado with the bison running out on the field. Buffaloes are big animals.

Oklahoma with the wagon is lame. The wagon is like half size and pulled by little ponies.
