To what? Enter the sandman isn’t anywhere near the best Metallica song. We should enter to whiplash or phantom lord. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

I think piping in music is a lame "tradition."

I'm glad it gets the crowd excited, and I think it's fun that the fans and players embrace it so much, but isn't one of the best in college football in my opinion.

Not really. Think ours is the only one and everybody else just has a variation of everyone else... otherwise, we stand alone.

No fair trotting out Metallica. It was really cool though. That crowd is fired up.

I agree 100% It's absolutely awesome. Except they

cut the song off too early.
It would be lame (because they pipe in a song from the 80's) if the energy wasn't so incredible. I get pumped up and I don't like Virginia Tech much at all.
Still, our's is way way way better because of originality.

Oldschool57 wants to watch them enter the field to the tune of coal miner’s daughter.

Any "tradition" that requires electricity and an 8 track...

...to pulled it off is right up there with HS fire extinguisher tradition.

I've been to VT. While it does get the crowd going, there is nothing unique or that interesting about their entrance.

I agree, we sat around Va Tech fans and they were nice. Very complimentary about our entrance. They really wanted us to brag on there’s and how great it was. It was good, but not nearly the end all be all they make it out to be.

They are nice people, and I'm sure they believe their entrance is the best.

Colorado with the bison running out on the field. Buffaloes are big animals.
Oklahoma with the wagon is lame. The wagon is like half size and pulled by little ponies.
