For those of you saying no suspension for Sammy.........

I will assume you do not have kids. If you do, I feel sorry for them.
I have a 17 and 14 year old. I have cheered Sammy and told to them what a class act Sammy is.
What kind of message do I send to my kids if I tell them you can get off lightly when you break the law. WE ARE NOT USC.
Sammy should get PTI and serve at least a one game suspension for Auburn. I don't give a rip if it hurts our chances against Auburn. I care that my kids, and Sammy Watkins, learn a life lesson.
I am still a big Sammy Watkins fan because I believe he is a good kid that made a poor choice.. Here's to Sammy making a full comeback from this - after serving his punishment.

I hope you are joking. The team should have no say in what game he sits out. It's dabo's call. He is the leader of these young men. Poor decisions have consequences and not just on the individual, but on others around you.

punishments involve sitting out a game. There are plenty of other ways to punish someone. As someone said earlier, have him pick up litter. I know there is not a lot of trash on the grounds at Clemson, but he could be made to pick up trash in Columbia. That would keep him busy all day.
Seriously though, let's say the team goes on some kind of outing that all the players enjoy doing. Well, then make Sammy stay on campus and do some school work in Vickery Hall that day. And he just can't go. But it needs to be something fun that the team does together. And Sammy will be missing out on the fun. They used ot have cookouts and things after the spring or August practice wraps up. Tell Sammy that we're going to the cookout and you're going to Vickery Hall.

imo there shouldn't be any suspension if he goes through pti. he will be subject to drug test every month, that doesn't mean he will but he will at least 2 times during the course of pti. that should be his punishment. pti cost a pretty penny, and as long as he keeps his nose clean he shouldn't be suspended.
