Yea and may win a game that would be improvement.
Barnes and Krall are the only 2 D1 pitchers we have.

We still have a chance to win the series tomorrow and if we sweep ND, we could end up with a 16-14 conference record. Now I know that's highly unlikely, but you never know. We could be a 2 or 3 seed in a regional and who knows, maybe we get hot. We better find some pitching first.

I'm been hoping that it could happen all year but the pitching is just getting worse.

If we can recruit a few pitchers this year and a few Beers, we will be in good shape next year.

We won far more games than we should have because of the pitiful pitching we have. Monte Lee did a great job of maximizing the very limited pitching. We would have lost at least five midweek games with the previous leadership.

...and as such there is always hope. The CWS is a mighty lofty goal ... until you recall:
Last year, Virginia went into the final week of the regular season needing a sweep ... not a series win, but a sweep ... of UNC to even make the ACC tournament. They had lost series to GTech, Fla. State and were swept by Louisville and ... VTech?
So a sweep against UNC didn't look likely. But they got it, which got the Hoos into the Regional out west. The rest is history.
The Tiger team this year can certainly make things interesting ... but NEVER think these guys are out of a game (well, maybe yesterday's) until the other team is celebrating.
