Well I got the boat all ready.....

I had a little extra time on my hands this spring and was able to spruce up the boat for taking to Edisto in two weeks.... Got the down rigger ready, outriggers repaired, and more importantly installed hydraulic steering. How did we all live without hydraulic steering ..
Gonna go get some seabass, Spanish, kings, and hopefully a trigger or two.
This spring has made me look forward to this summers vacation soooooooo much .. .I can't wait....the family's so excited also.

Hint, you only have a spit second to hook those Trigger fish, or your sand crab is gone, and be sure to take plenty of them!!!

It's also a sand flea.. never heard sand crab......
Never caught anything on a sand flea at the beach, but it's worth a try off shore...... I'll try it...thanks

to meet up with Clemson Son & Family and ride the 1993 Boston-Whaler 14’ Rage JET Boat on some of my favorite waterways.
Figuring this could be my last strong year (79) to do this type of straineous type of bouncing around.
PS: Nice house, strong boat name & super strong motor!

Good for you... My kids are just getting out of college so they're struggling to get time off and come to the beach. They only get to come for 5 days or so each, so they are a bit bummed. But, they now reflect on how lucky we all we to have the opportunity to be together as a family and do the things we did when they were young.
I wish my dad could come with me now but is 77 and just had some back surgury. I think he's done going out with me and it's sad. But I have my kids and their significant others. I can't wait to teach some grandkids how to fish.....but that will be a few years ..
