Unfortunately, I think you are correct. Achilles tears are very tough to come back from. I know people do it, but they never seem to be 100% again after the injury.

I agree. He will be a great RB, but face reality and give him time to heal and rebuild his strength.

A redshirt is a redshirt, doesn't matter if it's medical or not...you only get one. He will take time and come back as a sophomore and show what he's made of. I'm looking forward to seeing him. Take time, heal and come back stronger than ever. Go Tigers!

For instance, Tori Williams from Purdue played in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. Wait, that's 5 years. Well, he broke his leg in 2006 in the first game, after sitting out 2005 with a knee. The NCAA granted him a sixth year.

You really need a healthy and deep roster when facing a physical team like FSU. The Tigers need to protect their starting kickers as much as their QB(s).
