battle of the walk-ons with Carlson Fields' sweet drive on the baseline for the late score. None of Pitt's guys got squat.

Hopefully this was a good awakening game for what it's going to take to win in these types of environments coming up. Rough start to a tough stretch but our like our guys' chances overall.

And this represents what;a moral victory of sorts.
This game was almost a mirror image of the FSU game on the 9TH.
Clemson will have a hard time advancing beyond the regular season,or tournament if they can't find ways to excute against bigger,more physical teams.
I,for one do not like our chances after what
I saw in the first 5 minutes of this game,reagrdless of how sweet a drive Carlson had.

Clemson was picked to finish second from the bottom!!! Give this team some credit they have played well the last 3 games. beat Duke,VT on the road and Wake.

Disheartening to watch us. One game we seem to actually play basketball, the next we cant tie our shoes. I dont expect us to win every game by any means but we should at least look like we've played before. If we are a 1 game on and 1 game off kind of team I sure hope we can get things together in Chapel Hill. Prolly our best chance in 50 years to beat these guys if we play well.

We play a lot of sophs and JRs. If they dont know what it takes on the road they wont ever know.
