Why do people think S. Carolina will lose to Miami?

The canes have lost their last two games by double digits to Virginia and at home to Pitt. They gave up over 30 points to both teams and had a hard time scoring.

Exactly. Duke Johnson is better than Gallman and he had 180+. Likely "guess" is that if they can't stop Gallman then how can they stop Duke Johnson. Young QB for Miami is a good player as well against a horrible defense. Anything can happen but thats why I would guess Canes win.

You know, like a beaten dog. None of them care about the program or the coaches. Miami at least seems to have a glimmer of care. We have effectively destroyed all of their hopes, dreams, and fantasies where they didn't suck out loud. Reality has come down hard on their heads and Spurrier has acted like he doesn't care at all. I have my drink and popcorn ready. I want to see some visor flying. C-A-N-E-S CANES!

I agree with 81 to 85. While I hope the coots get thrashed, Miami is very much like the coots. Their defense is much like the coots, not very good. Their offense can be good at times, their young Q-back makes some bad decisions. Hope the canes BBQ some chicken.

South Carolina doesn't. They also have a hard time defending the run. I don't know that Miami will win, but I think those factors give them a chance.
Miami's defense is awfully good, too.

Miami with a 53% chance to win. I personally think it's 99.9999, with a 0.0001% chance that a Miami player runs the ball in the wrong direction and fumbles the ball in the wrong end-zone.

If Miami can stop that Pharaoh guy, then they can win as USUC cannot defend the run.
Miami barely lost to FSU - kind of like we did, so maybe Miami is as good as we are - maybe. And we beat the chickenpoop outta the chickens.
