What do you guys think about Ellis Johnson at Clemson?

I heard on the radio a minute ago that he is moving back to south Carolina and is interested in coaching at Clemson or scar even if only a position coach.
Could we use him?

NCAA rules specify how many coaches are allowed

and if memory serves it's one head coach, nine assistant coaches, and two graduate assistant coaches. This does not include strength coaches.
Clemson currently has eight (Venables, Brooks, Scott, Elliott, Reed, Caldwell, Hobby and Pearman) and Dabo will be hiring a QB coach shortly (possibly Brandon Streeter).

We should hope he did well enough to take over for Spurrier then crash and burn as a HC like he did everywhere else he has been.

My thinking is keep him away from Columbia. I credit him with the majority of the scar wins the last few years.

He did have their/coots defense clicking while he was their. When he left and that dud they have now took over, it went straight down hill.

As a position coach it would be awesome. That way if BV takes on a HC position anytime soon, we could promote within again.

As of right now we only have a sop open for a QB coach, and chances are our entire defensive coaching staff will comeback. I wouldn't mind him if we had an opening but we just don't and obviously we are doing pretty db good in every aspect of the defense
