We Don't Win This Game With Kelly Bryant

ND's Defense shut down our running game early and KB just didn't have the passing skills needed to win this game. No a dig at KB but a compliment to Dabo for having the mettle to make the call to start TL early enough to allow him to develop into the QB we need to compete for the National Title

I've always been in favor of the switch to Trevor and I don't think Kelly is near the talent we need. But you brought up this game versus ND and I have to say when you hold the other team to three points then claim we couldn't win with KB ... ??? His running would have been trouble for them. However we would not have won the game with the margin we did - that's for certain.

A whole different set of variables we be introduced with KB with more punts, possibly more turnovers...It would have been a low scoring game with ND exploiting a few critical mistakes generated from a one-dimensional offense.

I dunno, with KB we would have likely had more 3 and outs, got hammered by the time-of-possesion ratio, the defense would have gotten worn down, and ND would have started hitting some big plays.

You don’t think we could have scored 6 points?

Don’t get me wrong, I love Trevor and glad we switched but I believe we win no matter who was back there in this game. Now next one would be a different story.
