Wayne Train, the good & the bad

Apr 26, 2017, 5:24 PM

The bad news is, IMO...
I don't think Wayne is going be a high draft pick. I expect late 4th to early 5th round.
But, with that said...I do think he's going help someone. And may have a good chance to
make a 53 man roster. It just needs to be the right team.

right.

I have doubts. He's a good kid, but there are many running backs that get flushed out. I just never saw anything special in Wayne.

I will miss Gallman at CU. I hope he goes to a team where he can show that" cut back " and speed. His toughness is very well noted, with very minimal game time loss due to injury. He is one of the most durable backs in this draft. I see him as an A. Ellington type of back in the right scheme. Shifty, and in an NFL weight program, should raise his game playing time in the coming year. There's no doubt his production, numbers don't lie. Best for Gallman.

Gallman needs a 2nd NFL tape...

of his blocking ability in the backfield. The FSU game winning TD to Legget comes to mind. DW4 never gets that pass off without a block from Gallman

I remember reading some draft analyst criticizing his blocking.

It was pretty clear he had never watched Wayne play. He was an absolute stone cold stopper. My biggest concern with the tailback turn over this year is, do we have anyone that can block close to the Gallman's level?

Completely fearless
