All-Star games mean jack all when it comes to predicting futures, especially with QB's.

They get one week of practice and reps with their new teammates, and one week to familiarize themselves with the playbook. By a million miles the most impressive All-Star performance I ever saw was by Jordan Sorrells - who played his college ball at Furman! - back in the Shrine Bowl back in the day. He absolutely lit up the North Carolina squad, which was loaded with 4-star SEC commits at QB like Joe Cox (UGA) and Jonathan Crompton (Tennessee). The caveat to that is that the coach of the South Carolina squad was Sorrells' dad, who was the HC at Greenville High at the time, if memory serves.

Whatever, it's not predictive. At all.

Fortunately our Tigers have great coaching. Obviously or Dabo would not have pursued him. I’ve watched him a few times and he is no Watson or Lawrence yet!

Speaking of good coaching,Houston is lacking in this important quality!

Tbh Trevor was hit or miss in that game as well. Its REALLY hard to get any kind of rhythm and timing with receivers in these all star games.
