On the First Team (siriusxm college radio show) this morning, the hosts had Tom Luginbill on. They talked ball and then asked him if he had any favorite tradition, cheer, band performance, etc that stood out to him as a sideline reporter over the years.
Paraphrasing, he said: No, not really.... well, at Clemson they do this cool chant or cheer with everyone yelling and fist pumping with this whoooo hoooo whoooo hoo hoo hooooo... Yeah, the whole place going nuts and doing that is pretty awesome.

Listen, for some reason the ladies LOVE the woohoo - and from the sound of it, there can't be many - if ANY - male voices doing the woohoo (HAYULL! I actually tried it once but can't even come close to hitting those high notes!)... so, falling back on the "if momma ain't happy, then no one's gonna be happy" mantra, I've just conceded that resistance is futile on this one....

Side note: I have WooHooed zero times at a Clemson game. (I might do it at other places, but never at a game.)
