The guy he knocked out had physically abused a young girl. Not sure, but i think he broke her jaw. I have always thought that her dad was really pleased that he got some payback. He's probably Yeargin's biggest fan.

after the video surfaced 2 years later. He said if it had happened today (late 2016) Mixon would've been kicked off the team, but then he almost laments the fact that you can't give these kids second chances for something like that any longer. Here's his quote:

"A young guy having an opportunity to rehabilitate and to have some kind of discipline and come back from it is really not there anymore."
