Wake Tailgating

I am planning to go to the game Saturday and have never been to a game at Wake. My group would like to tailgate. Do all the lots allow tailgating? Any lots better than others for tailgating?

Absolutely it a great place to tailgate. Now it is mostly on asphalt but plenty of tailgating room. You will find that 99.9% of tailgaiting is done by Clemson fans. Parking has never been a problem even though the fair is usually same weekend. You will have a great time

I live in Winston-Salem. The regional fair is in town this weekend which draws a big crowd. Plan to come at least by noon the get some good tailgating in. I don't know the parking situation as paid public parking is usually at the basketball arena but that's also the fair parking. There are some warehouses that have paid parking east the stadium. They'll have electronic marquees directing traffic to where you need to be.

BTW they sale alcohol in the stadium and you can drink at your seat.

We will be tailgating in the Orange Lot. I live in Winston & haven’t decided if we will grill at home first or at the game since I live 3 miles from the stadium.
