I read one article that said the fumbled snap was the reason KB did not start the 2nd half. If true, the fumble is on KB.

I'm sorry, but this just further shows how so many people seem to believe everything they read. Even if that were somehow true, you really think the coaches at halftime told the team that Bryant wasn't starting the 2nd half because of a fumble? Do you really think the coaches would tell some random reporter that was the case?

I personally think that KB wasn't quite ready for the snap because of crowd noise. Couple that with a wet ball and we got what we got...

or pistol formation but KB was under center. the ball was flung not snapped up to his hands. The one that went by TL was probably crowd noise induced. I'd rather they just quick snap and KB push forward as opposed to the delay counter handoff. Which is more than likely what they were about to do. They probably lose yards on that one anyway.

Remember we fumbled that play twice against FSU last year at home. It just wastes too much time and the defensive is not waiting and reacting they're just pushing forward and LB's are filling gaps. Delays and counters i thought just were for if you're trying to freeze an Linebacker. But we do it just about every time. It works sometimes and i think worked that night but I don't see the difference in that and a normal run play up the gut. A normal run play is less of a risk.
