Perhaps just one person's opinion, but to me, The Oculus looks like a big grain silo and screws up what is otherwise a pretty nice architectural design.

As someone once said, "I don't know anything about art ... but I know what I like."
But, I will say this ... the look is certainly in keeping with what has happened architecturally to the town of Clemson over the past few years.

trying to figure out what part of art has any bearing on my life.
I concluded the definition of space had to be the answer for which I searched.
I don't think I'll ever get to visit Clemson again but if I do I'll give you a first hand review. Yeah, this has to be built and experienced to be appreciated, me thinks.

It is in the long range plans, but doubt we build it until we can sell the tickets. We have alot of suites and the Westzone now as premium spots. They may be waiting on the economy to turn around.

a.) The Hill was already there
b.) The Rock was free
c.) The statue of TGC honors our founder.
Meanwhile the Oculus will need to be constructed, it will not be free, and it honors nothing specific ... it will simply cost a lot of money and will (once again, my opinion) detract from the look of the stadium.
Oh well, if the majority like it, I can live with it. I just can't believe that the atrocious thing has that much honest support though!
