According to Nielson, the ACC is third in viewership per game behind the SEC and Big 10 in football?

The ACC has dropped the ball by not taking advantage of this. They should have been starting their own network long ago rather than selling the third tier rights to raycom and espn.

The have the numbers when it comes to eyeballs. That is the driving force behind making big bucks with a league network. They can charge the cable companies to carry their network if they have a footprint in that market. From what I have read, you can get about a dollar from millions of cable subscribers.
